Inspired by the Greek word panoptis — one who sees everything. Replace pan with plan, and you get a system built around one idea: keeping your whole plan visible at all times.

One file, three sections: standing projects, a month-by-month
plan, and a daily log grouped by client or topic.
Indent with tabs. Every task is a - line; a marker sits right after the dash.
Collapse a section to skim, expand it to work. The screenshot above is one day; the same file also holds the month-by-month plan and the standing project list.
Markers always come immediately after the -, one per line.
